Philosophy


Photography started as a hobby for me 9 years ago and quickly grew into my deepest passion. I wake up each day thrilled to create and capture such special and beautiful moments in so many peoples lives. I love the people, and I love the craft. It just feels like a blessing that this is what I have found to love so much, as sappy as it sounds, this feels like the perfect place for me. Being able to meet so many incredible people, photographing the connection between them, and making people feel their most authentic and beautiful self is what I strive to do. You deserve to have life's most precious moments captured in a way that feels true to you. Meet Nichola


Nichola Rae is a wedding and lifestyle photographer now based in North Carolina, but ready for unbounded exploration as she takes on more destination work in 2026 & 2027. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Saint Simons Island, GA and the mountains of Western North Carolina, Nichola has roots in many places among the East Coast that have given her the privilege of developing her passion for photography, and connecting with others.
